Recovering...
I was really annoyed two years ago when the trees in the beautiful tree lined avenue at Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course were pruned hard to make way for cameras for the Ryder Cup. Thankfully they are recovering and almost back to their former glory.
The weather has been funny today. Grey and muggy early thing morning with a burst of blue sky and sunshine then back to grey and muggy. After a couple of hours ironing I was hot and bothered (and not in a good way!) so I escaped the house for a little while and felt all the better for it.
At my suggestion, Alan's Support Worker Christine brought her two dogs Clyde and Bailey with her today (for reasons too complicated to go in to) and Alan thought they were hilarious.
Clyde is a fully grown German Shepherd and Bailey is a six month old GS pup. Oh my but they are very boisterous! I had to make sure I was sitting down when they came in or they would have knocked me off my feet! Of course they were excited and nosey and did calm down. They've left their mark though....a hall covered in dog hair and paw prints. But they're worth it :D
They will be back tomorrow so David will get a chance to see them. Three guesses what my blip will be tomorrow? :-))
