I worked in the studio today, happily, for the first time in a while. Megan's tarot reading of yesterday echoed in my head, "Maybe you are just meant to make art even though challenges are ever present. Be hot, be uncomfortable, but make art."

The series of self portraits I took today gave me a strange confidence, I love the saturation of color, the messy bedroom, the position of my hand.
