Bundaberg Barometer

I have been fascinated for years by this wonderful Barometer that belonged to CCN's Dad Doug.  Doug didn't need a fancy app on a mobile phone or laptop to tell him the weather he always trusted his Barometer and believe me it was pretty well spot on.

A late blip posting for the 7th of September, but I've finally found a spot where the wifi is working today. :-))  I had to laugh this morning.  As we were driving home from seeing CCN's Mum Nettie in the nursing home I spotted a huge Billboard with the following slogan - "Is your Business NBN Ready" NBN meaning National Broadband Network.  You bet your bottom dollar I am, just can't see it happening any time soon!!
