Margaret....

....who runs the pub in the Glen of Aherlow in Co. Tipperary, she has been doing so for the past 35 years.

This village has a special meaning to my girlfriends family, as this is the village where Claire's mom was born. See the extra of Claire's mom's house where she lived until she was two, when Kath left Ireland with her family she would return on a regular basis for holidays and reunite with family and friends. As you can see in the extra, the pub is rather close to home but what is even stranger is that Kath's house also had a public house attached to it back when she was a child. So in this tiny village there were two pubs within a few metres of each other.

Earlier we stopped off at Kildare for lunch on our way from Dublin.
