Still no word from the Coonsil about their visit on Monday - whether it happened, what's happening now etc - so I called to find out.

Again, the main Council switchboard put me through to the Community Safety people (the ones with no jurisdiction over non-public back court areas) and it took a while to be connected with the right department.

Apparently I'm not the only person shouting about this - a few other neighbours are phoning them - which makes it all the more mystifying why it takes so long for anything to get done.

I was put through to Avril Ward (Technical Officer), the person I spoke to last week and on a previous occasion. She wasn't at her desk when I called so I left a message.
