Ready for the close up....

These are Ernie's feet - or hooves I suppose you would have to call them.

Ernie is a lovely , year old, Clydesdale from Bute and today he was perfectly presented for the ring at the Bute Cattle Show.

His coat was rubbed up with soft soap ,with just a sprinkling of sawdust in it, but the final touch was a dusting of Johnson's baby powder to make the feet look even whiter and set off the pink ribbons to perfection.
