contradiction in terms

I saw this earlier when returning from a friends house.

I had hoped for a blip of a birdie today as they are generally all out and about in my friend's garden, but not one birdy to be seen. Of course I could have taken a shot of her baby ;-)

The image caught my eye on the way home and it tickled me to see a huge advertising hoarding shouting "twilight" when it was pitch dark out.

It is either an early blip addiction or the need to play with new toy, but I felt the need to go out into the cold and walk down the street to take the photo!
