Dock at Hanalei Bay

last photo from our trip. the last two days were rainy.

hanalei bay reminds me of the peter, paul and mary song, "puff the magic dragon lived by the sea in a land called hanalei."

also, i didn't take photos every day. i wanted to be free of the camera for some of the time.

we took an exciting and beautiful morning hike without the camera into the na pali valley. it was a beautiful trail, though a bit treacherous in many places. we started at ke'e beach and hiked to a beach two miles away and back. there were many others hiking also.
