Thank you gift

Last evening I was guest at the tenth birthday party of a WI that I helped to start. I found them a meeting place and did all the publicity and then when we had enough people I led them through the process of running a branch of the Women's Institute.
It was so good to go back yesterday and celebrate with them at a very happy evening. We had a conjuror, refreshments and a birthday cake which I was asked to cut with due ceremony. There was a lot of happy laughter.
It was such a delightful evening, and at the end they presented me with this gorgeous flower arrangement. It looks good on my big round table.
