Serpentine Pavilion
Blessed by blue sky, sun, strong shadow and shifting light at the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion in London today. What an inspired annual commission this is: each summer an internationally renowned architect is invited to create their first built structure in England. This one is by Bjarke Ingels Group and there are so many ways to see it. I took mountains of photos.
This year there are also four summer houses. Asif Khan's - third and fourth extras - entranced me. It is white. Just white. Whatever that is. (The figure walking in in the final extra is Asif Khan's proud uncle who happened to be visiting at the same time as us.)
You have another month to get there. Check the forecast for sun.
