well today started well - we all got up early to catch john on his birthday and sing to him with a wee cake in the street! gillian was on car speaker phone from edinburgh too.

then once the kids were away to school I had a really busy day planned getting last minute things done for NEOS. But I checked my email to find a really nasty email from the committee...basically accusing us of lowering the tone of the event in 2015 because we had failed to fully engage (including no eye contact) with a handful of people that came to our event last year - out of the 751 that came through the door that week. she suggested we go to craft fairs instead because NEOS is not a 8 day art sale and we clearly weren't suited to such a high profile event. and it's taken them a whole year and two days before our exhibition to send this email.

I've been so upset all day and got very little done. I'm gobsmacked. are we THAT annoying? we must be. either that or we are just unfortunate to have met these kinds of people at every turn.

not one committee member has ever been to our exhibition. and we speak to everyone that visits us. I'm so upset. beefy's livid.
