The old and the new

Spotted this whilst out for a stroll at lunchtime today. The contrast between the buildings in this photo is quite stark. Lining the street on either side are the late Victorian mansion blocks of Montagu Mansions (running parallel with Baker Street) whilst at the end of the street there is the modern cladding of the recently redeveloped former Marks and Spencer headquarters which fronts on to Baker Street.

Not exactly sympathetic is it?
