More Magnolias

Much, much better weather today - although not very warm. I took a walk to the local gardens - a walk which has become  my Flower Friday treat. Much to my disgust, when I got there, I discovered the camera card was still sitting in the computer. So, I walked back home.

I drove back to the gardens and had a good wander around. The storm seems to have done very little damage there - daffs are standing tall and flowers are not looking bruise and battered at all.

I am loving the magnolias - several varieties grow there and they are looking beautiful right now. This one when open is more white inside and just shows a pinkish flush on the backs of the petals. They looked lovely against the blue of the sky.
