Longevity
I don’t often get the chance to shoot sunrises or seascapes so this morning I got up at 5:30 to have a go. My husband insisted on accompanying me because the location to which I was headed is quite deserted, although he grumbled a bit. We went to land’s end at Orient Point, the eastern most part of Long Island’s north fork. There is a small lighthouse on an island in the channel that guides the boats between it and Plum Island (as seen in the extra). Ultimately I loved this shot for it’s simplicity. This fishing boat had just taken a right turn to head out to sea and the light on top illuminated the name of the boat and the wake. Have a look in LARGE because it looks a bit soft on this page.
