no more stripes

while I was away having adventures, the stripes were harvested. 
My adventures included: 
arriving at 7:45am the place we were giving a course all day to find out that there would be no electric from 8am-10:30am.
Only to find out that, even if we had electric, my new laptop doesn't have a means to connect to a beamer.
To be rescued by our (wonderful) boss with an alternative laptop.
For the HDMI cable to stop working.
And then start working.
And then stop working.
And then only transmit pictures with no sound.
And then someone had a massive allergic reaction and I had to give her my emergency medication.
Apart from that, it was great and now I'm going to drink a bottle of wine.
