Botanical lunchtime

I was in Edinburgh seeing a friend and decided to take a sandwich pack with me to have my lunch in the Botanical Gardens. I expected to see more flowers still around in September but I had to go looking for little splashes of colour. These are a form of geranium - Geranium himalayense which happened to be a few feet away from the bench where I had my lunch. There rest of the bed was pretty bare so it provided an ideal backdrop for the plants.
