White Backed Vulture

Sadly all the vulture species in South Africa are threatened. We were driving back to the camp in the Umfolozi Game Reserve when this vulture flew above us into it's nest. I was able to grab a shot through the sun roof.
The whole area is drought stricken, there is little green to be seen, most of the water holes are dry, as are most of the rivers. We drove up to Hluhluwe where the situation is a little less dire.
