Digging in the Seaweed

Business took me to Wicklow Town this morning where I spotted these young lads with their Dad digging in the seaweed. Goodness only knows what they were looking for but since they were carrying buckets with them I can only assume that they were on the trail of shellfish. Probably mussels. I really don't think I will be eating local mussels for quite some time. I have seen what goes into this estuary and it's not particularly pleasant!
