Time for Takeoff...

This morning I knew it was going to be a real easy 4 hours of work but because of a change in the law in 2004 I also had to stay at the truck till my boss got to work and see if there was anything else to do. A little of this and a little of that and that was that.. 

So by the time I got to walk it was 100 degrees outside and not in the best location so a simple 1/2 mile walk would have to do.. I first spotted this bird on the fence and got a real good photo but it took off to the other side of the canal and just looked at me, looked forward and.. like it didn't know what it wanted to do. Just before it flew away I took this photo..

Tomorrow is another unknown.. Right now they say New Mexico or Southern California...
