Dusk in D.C.

All the monuments with water in DC carry signs for people not to wade into the water. All of us, tourists included, regularly ignore those warnings when temps become overwhelming (100 again today) and dip our toes in for a quick cool-off, under the benevolent eye of the park rangers. It's good to know common sense occasionally prevails :)
