Viewer's Choice

Earlier this summer, I blipped a little Townsend's Chipmunk, local to this area. 

Chippie, as I dubbed her, laid low most of the summer, but more than made up for it today! Her longing look up at our high bird feeder took place at 7:56 a.m., followed by a quick clean-up of seeds spilled by sloppy birds. 

By 1:40 p.m., she was back, and carefully checked the deck floor, table, railing, and lower bird feeder (extra photo #1), before posing charmingly at full length for me (extra photo #2).

There were loads of other photos of her that I could have shared, but really, how many chipmunk pictures do you want to look at? That said, I'd be interested in which of these three is your favorite. I aim to please!
