Ambitious

Li'l sis declared (after her first full week of secondary school) that she wants to be a prefect! She found my old badge whilst nosing through my things. I did tell her not to be a prefect 'like me'.

Great first week of work complete, it's been more than I could have wished for. I've also completed another personal milestone on my own professional journey this week.

Li'l sis sleepover tonight meant we ended up sat on the sofa, her doing homework and me drawing! She shamed me into it. It was amazing to see her working with genuine interest and motivation.
We have a good chat about her week and laughed alot. She had me in hysterics when she declared 'secondary school is nuts, look at the bags under my eyes!'
It was just what I needed, having got home feeling a bit deflated and oddly- emotional.
