Back blip - Apple country
We traveled from Idaho to the Washington State Yakima Valley looking for some of the familiar wineries. Specifically, the "14 Hands" tasting room was on our list, as our family members usually have a few of their bottles in our wine racks. What I had not expected, is that this area is also prime fruit growing country. Wow, fruit trees covered the hilly landscape as far as we could see. Just on our route where we could recognize the fruit, we saw varieties of apples, pears, hops and grapes. At the risk of getting arrested for trespassing, we stopped along the side of an orchard for a few close up shots. I was very tempted to take a sample but didn't.
