La Trinité-Porhoët
We popped out to do some shopping including jam jars - there are carrier bags full of them at home. On the drive back we spotted this village of roof tops in the distance and stopped to wander around. The Internet could tell me very little but pleased to see a comment about the church. When you walk through a door into the church the floor slopes away from the alter. A strange feeling although the small picture on the bottom corner of the collage doesn't show the slope. The village is lovely, set on a hill side with interesting buildings to look at. At the top was a huge place, possibly a school, we couldn't decide on its original use.
The jelly is made and setting as I write, there are plenty of apples and may make more in a day or so. I hope our hosts like it, a little surprise for them.
