Windsor Castle Moat

Today we took the local train to Windsor Castle.
It was a lovely day wandering around the castle grounds, and I got a lot of lovely photos, but this one took my fancy - all the lovely garden in the picture used to be the castle moat! What a clever thing to do with a disused moat!
The weather was very British, drizzly then not, then rain, then not, then drizzle again. But we still had a lovely day in Windsor.
Tonight we are off to the theatre - we are seeing the Carole King musical, Beautiful.
