Poldark Was Here
These are the two engine houses at the Crowns section of Botallack Mine. Along with others on Cornwall's tin coast they have been used as locations for the latest serise of Poldark.
We walked along this part of the coast trying to imagine what it must have been like in the heyday of mining with smoking belching from the many stacks. What must have life been like for the people. men, women and children who worked in the tin mining industry.
