Boats at Nichol End Marina

The start of the day was "Threlkeld Weather" so we spent many happy hours in the engine shed and photographing "Sir Tom" their little steam engine which was running to shuttle other visitors on their mine tour. On the way home, the clouds lifted and we could see the potential of a small patch of sunlight, uncertain if we'd see more we stopped off at Nichol End on the way home and captured these boats with shadow and clouds behind them.
