Belties on Walthamstow Marshes
I've been walking Titus our Dalmatian on Walthamstow Marshes for over 5 years and spotting the Belties is still the highlight of my walk.
Just over a mile from Islington, these seven Belted Galloways help manage the marshes in a natural way. They restore the quality of the vegetation by suppressing aggressive species and allowing more species to grow.
They're a long way from home, like me, but seem to be thriving.
