Lightship

Another one of the sights from my cycle commute. A sad sight. - The North Carr Lightship. This is the foghorn. (I think). It's supposed to be being restored and it's got a lottery funding sign on it, but it rots away from year to year.
Eight men from Broughty Ferry were lost at sea in 1959, when the lifeboat went down trying to rescue the crew of the Lightship (who were themselves rescued later).
