Sunflowers

Yes, I blipped sunflowers just last week, but those were cultivated and huge. These grow on the side of the road and are absolutely everywhere this year. It really is a good year for sunflowers. The wetlands are covered with them. I am sure some will have been seeded there because they are are part of the wetland mitigation project that was required with the building of the bypass. But there are many more all over the county that just seem to have sprung up where we haven't seen them before. Maybe a lot of sunflower seed that is put out in feeders is getting scattered further afield. Who knows?
