One Of Those Weeks

Haven't been on blip for quite  a while but thought I should update.

A couple of months back, Chris had a kidney removed and they said he needed chemo.  So he's been on chemo for 3 rounds worth and last Sunday the chemo decided it would kick his heart around a bit so he was admitted to hospital.  Several days of testing, which showed his heart was in reasonably good shape and drugs to thin his blood to ward off any chance of a blood clot was going okay until he developed an allergic reaction to heparin which caused his platelets to crash(they originally thought it was the chemo).  This destroys the platelets and the debris created can cause blood clots so they are keeping him in hospital until they can get his platelets sorted out.

He's not a happy camper but he also doesn't want to come home until it's fixed.  I've noticed several new grey hairs for me.
