Wanted: Butterflies for buddleia bush

Took the plunge and went back to the body pump class this morning. I know that it will hurt tomorrow (and the day after).

I haven't seen a single butterfly on our buddleia this year - such a shame. Some years there have been clouds of them.

Tackled a large pyracantha bush in the back garden in the afternoon - we planted it to keep out a straying dog. It did the job but has now taken over the bottom part of the garden. Huge spines on the branches made the job 'interesting'.

Just before bed, I went out with a torch and spotted our tiny baby newts in the pond. There were also 3 large frogs around - let's hope they like slugs and snails.
