Another hot day....we were feeling tired today, so bought water bus tickets to hop on and off rather than walk Gives a different perspective seeing the sights along the Grande Canal from the water...but we are now really recognising so many places...really getting to know Venice.

The queues for the Basilica are still horrendous. About a two hour wait..think we will be giving it a miss unless we can get in one evening.

Ps We saw the Cunard cruise ship 'Queen Victoria' this morning, plus numerous other Cruise liners...no wonder the crowds are so huge every morning.

Oh, and I completely forgot to tell you...the actor Timothy Spall and his wife were on our flight sitting two rows in front of us.. The International Film Festival is on this week at Lido, possibly where he was heading.
