There is something very special and touching about a homemade cake.

This was delivered to me tonight in style by B's daughter and her partner (they very kindly stepped into the breach as we don't quite have a working kitchen yet).

It was in public, I blushed like a teenager, but I loved it and love them for their kindness and efforts.
