Shroom hunting in the forest.

Lynne arrived from Toronto today....it is always such a treat to have her here.   She's mainly here cos we have our amazing 4 day abstract painting course next week....starting thursday!   i'm happy that she's here for a few days before the workshop - gives us a chance to do some visiting and chatting....and of course drinking some wine!!!

we had a great walk on one of our trails....the White Pine trail (which i referred to a few hours later - after a couple of glasses of wine, as the White Wine trail....we were quite hysterical for a few moments!!!!) anyway, we harvested a huge batch of chanterelle mushrooms, cleaned them and they were added to the delicious quiche we had for dinner!   What a treat!
