Rococo library - Abbey Rolduc

During the national Heritage Day on Sunday, September 11th Rolduc Abbey in Kerkrade opens wide its doors. The greatest monument of the Netherlands is that day free. 
Wander through the ancient cloisters, enjoy the silence in the Abbey Church and marvel at the beauty of the Rococo library.

Rolduc Abbey is not only the largest national monument in the Netherlands. Did you know that it is also one of the largest hotels and conference centers in Limburg? Furthermore, there are housing, office space and some creative businesses housed.

During the Heritage Days are a lot of this destinations to see up close. The museum spaces as the abbey church crypt, the rococo library, the bishop hall and the historic cloisters are freely accessible.
