Ahead of the gale

We left the Abercorn Basin in Belfast very early this morning and were held up only temporarily by the movement of a huge commercial ship manoeuvring in the channel. Nevertheless we had a great passage home up Belfast Lough ahead of the gales!

It was starting to blow up a bit as we approached our home port and after we were alongside the wind was gusting over 30 knots. It's still windy now, so I'm so glad to be safely home.
