Warden Abbey Vineyard

went to an open day at Warden abbey vineyard today. Its on the site of a medieval abbey which had a vineyard on the same site as the current one for hundreds of years. The vines were replanted in the 1980's and are now run as a community vineyard by a charity. It was a lovely day for the vineyard tour, wine tasting and 'picnicking' amongst the rows of vines (see extra).
