Moorland Walk

I was asked to check out a control site for next weekend's OMM Lite event. Competitors can run or bike individually or in pairs over two days to find controls spread over the southern part of the North York Moors. It was a beautiful afternoon on the Moors and the light was particularly good. The Heather is beginning to die back but there is still a lot of purple about.

This tree caught my eye set against the dry stone wall and blue sky.
