Eskbank House

A call from a friend took me by train to join her at Eskbank for a recce of the scenic route walking in to Dalkeith and of the revently opened local history museum in the renovated Dalkeith Corn Exchange. All with a view to updating the app which accompanies her guide to the new Borders Railway.

We passed a number of lovely and/or interesting buildings, but this beautifully curved conservatory in Eskbank was what struck me most.
