Putting the boot in

I had my cavity walls insulated today.*

The original appointment was for 8.00am but the insulator people were having trouble with their van so they rescheduled for noon but finally turned up at 2.30pm by which time I was really quite cross.**

But it was a free scheme so I shouldn't complain...

...except that it's been 'one of those days'.

Apart from all the enforced hanging around I've had to do, my freezer has gone crazy and doubtless needs replacing at great expense and my iTunes library has disappeared without trace. Marvellous!

I'm off to visit my mum tomorrow and will be away a few days. I may blip while I'm gone but my capacity to comment is likely to be diminished somewhat I'm afraid. Have a good weekend everyone, I hope to be considerably less grumpy when I return!
