One thing you have to know is that I'm not allowed in the bedroom, or on the bed during the day.  This is because of a mishap some considerable time ago, that has never been forgotten.

Secondly, I was rudely awakened by sounds of getting up at some time I've never even heard of before, like 3.15 am.  Then THEY did go out for a while, and SHE did come back on her own.

I have a feeling that he has disappeared back into the iPad again.

But the whole point is that I went up to bed, positively dragged myself up those stairs, because bed is the place to be when you are exhaustipated.
