Bales at St Abbs

Friday. En route to the family in Scotland, we stopped for morning coffee at St Abbs, a pretty fishing/diving village on the coast. If only the sun had come out to illuminate these bales of hay/straw (?) nevertheless an interesting undulating field with a little flock of birds hovering around one of the bales at the top of the frame (I thought I had got water on the lens till I looked closely)
