The confluence

On the left is the river Cocker, which drains the mountains and land near Buttermere...

On the right is the river Derwent, which drains the mountains and land near Bassenthwaite...

The confluence is just near our house in Cockermouth...

In the middle, sitting patiently, is a wee Cocker Spaniel!
