A futile search

I can't find Minty's collar. I've searched in the house, round the garden, in my car, down the lane -  everywhere! - without success.

That was why Minty and I returned to the lochside this afternoon. The idea was to ask at the ranger's office if the collar had been handed in, but there was no sign of any ranger, so we retraced our steps to Manse Bay, which is where we saw these canoeists on the choppy water.

Needless to say, we didn't find the collar, but at least we had a good walk before the rain started.
