A pleasing result
I was pleased with the result of this morning's loaf. It is surprising what a difference little variations to the variables in sourdough baking make. Last week I made some tomato, basil and parmesan muffins as I want to find ways of not having to throw out excess sourdough starter.
I had a shock at the Bureau this morning. My colleague did not turn up so I had to man the desk and two computer systems alone and I am only supposed to be a trainee. It was a bit hairy but non of my mistakes was irremediable.
In the afternoon I did a house call and watered my friends' plants.
