Sarracenia

It's great to find something new to blip after all these years but I was surprised to discover something on my kitchen window sill that I have never seen before.

I've blipped my sarracenia plant earlier this year and someone else's 4 years ago but I had wrongly assumed that the pitchers of this insectivorous plants were flowers. That was because they attracted insects with scent and nectar.

Now the flower on this plant is opening up. I may take some more shots another day.
