Short-toed Lark
Another new bird for me and one that surely should be renamed! This bird sang so beautifully for me and should have a glorious melodious name, it doesn't even have short toes!
The rain has stopped and it is so lush and green, I absolutely love it here and have asked to be left here, even after I had fallen hard onto my back, pointing my big lens up into the trees, I unbalanced and in slow motion I went down!(because the surface was so wet everywhere was so slippery) luckily I saved my lens and camera although it was slightly embedded into the mud! It seems to be all working as it should thank goodness!
