Seattle Skyline
Last day in Seattle which started with a slightly strange 11 mile run around Union Lake (I got lost so many times at one point I came face to face with an oncoming tram and had to climb a hill on all fours to get to the bridge back over the lake) then a lovely cruise out of Elliott Bay and through the locks & bridges of Fremont and Ballard. Stunning places in superb weather (we've not seen a drop of rain in the so called wettest city on earth)
Finally it was up the famous space needle for panoramic views of the city (I could have used 200 today) with downtown, Seattle Seahawks stadium and the towering Mount Rainer volcano in the background (it isn't just a bunch of clouds I assure you..)
Another location ticked off... now for the car and the road trip..
