Grim up north...

Another day in paradise marred by too much sunshine.  Had to have a lashing of Flora sun block before venturing out in the 22c this morning.  Not looking so good tomorrow so making the most of it.  Not a good sea glass collecting day as high tide was 1pm and the sea was quite calm.  Best after a winter storm at low tide.  Found a good cafe´, 'Rhubarb and Custard'; fresh food and good portions served by pleasant people.  And they serve food at lunchtime!!!  How novel.  We had to stop going to our regular cafe after being refused service at 11.30 am until 11.45am because the 'chef' (ha) was too busy preparing lunch and had refused to take any orders.  Unbelievable.
